Roger is an experienced tech founder, advisor and growth company Chair. He and his teams have advised, built and sold growth companies worth billions of dollars through bull and bear cycles.

Roger runs North Ridge Partners’ Travel Tech practice.

Prior to founding North Ridge Partners, he was Global Head of Technology for ABN AMRO Bank and, prior to that CEO of Asia-Pacific Securities for ABN AMRO. Today he chairs two ASX 200 companies, Web Travel Group and Iress, as well as Technology Queenstown, the not-for-profit that he and North Ridge Partners catalysed to diversify Queenstown’s economy by building a vibrant tech sector.

Roger is experienced in building, financing, governing and selling software, online travel and travel technology businesses. He frequently writes and speaks on all things digital. In his spare time, he’s an avid mountain biker and hiker.
